Navagio is one of the most photographed beaches in the world, I’m sure it has been photographed from almost every possible angle. When I first saw the shipwreck beach in person, I knew I had to put my Mavic drone in the air to capture photos many people wouldn’t ever get the chance to see.
I’m not the most experienced drone pilot; in fact this was probably my 8th flight I have ever flown. I didn’t let my nerves get the best of me that day; the strong winds I experienced from the top of the cliffs weren’t helping my confidence either. I accepted the fact that I might lose my drone that day and made a conscious decision to put it in the air, a risk that paid off because I captured this beautiful photo. You can see the two different colors of the water, something you need to be in the air to see to fully appreciate.
